INTRODUCTION
The bench, having expressly a didactic purpose, allows the students to deepen the hydraulic, mechanical and thermodynamic aspects characterizing the Split type conditioning installations equipped with Inverter. Furthermore, it shows that it is possible to obtain a significant energy saving by modulating the rotation speed of the compressor. Fault simulation is included.
TRAINING PROGRAM:
Start-up and verification of the intervention of the security devices
Study of the operation of a split conditioner with inverter
Operation in Cooling mode, Dehumidification and Heating
Proportional type regulation: analysis of variations in the number of compressor revolutions according to the thermal jump between the set temperature and the detected temperature.
Analysis of system behavior based on:
- the mode of operation
- the air flow in the evaporator
- the setpoint temperature (set point)
Representation of the refrigeration cycle on the diagram, Refrigerant Gas Pressure-Enthalpy
Data collection and calculation:
- thermal balances at the level of the evaporator, the condenser, the compressor
- the mass flow of the refrigerant
- ideal and real cooling efficiency coefficients (EER)
- Ideal and real COP
- volumetric compression efficiency
- heat balances on the air side (a thermo-hygrometer and an anemometer, optional, is required)
