Torque System Device: Transducer to be placed between two machines to measure the mechanical torque and speed on the motor shaft. The flexible coupling ensures a better alignment between the two machines and a more accurate torque measurement. The speed is measured with an optical sensor delivering 1 pulse per rotation with a maximum speed of 4000 rpm. This transducer connected to the DL EM-TEST system allows the student to acquire the mechanical information needed to determine torque vs. speed, speed vs. voltage, torque vs. current and other characteristic curves of the machine under study. This sensor is to be used with the Digital torque, speed and shaft power meter.
Digital Torque, Speed and Shaft Power Meter: This module allows measuring the external and the internal temperature by using a dedicated external probe. Furthermore, the module allows measuring both the speed of rotation and the torque of an electric machine through a torque system device (DL 50050TR) and calculating the mechanical power.
